DHEC: sewage flowing into Columbia rivers

Heavy rains due to Tropical Storm Ida are causing multiple wastewater treatment plants to overflow and spill untreated and partially treated sewage discharges into Columbia-area rivers, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control announced Wednesday.
