Surveillance tape leads to I-80 arrests, authorities report
Two suspects whose images were seen on a video surveillance tape in a Laundromat burglary in Colfax were arrested Tuesday as they drove west on Interstate 80, the Placer County Sheriff's Department reported.

Robbers Nabbed After Stealing Coins At Laundromat
Two suspected thieves are behind bars after a surveillance camera caught them robbing a Placer County laundromat in broad daylight.
It happened yesterday at 6:00 in the morning at a laundromat in Colfax.
Police say the men walked in and went right for the change machine.
One man used a drill to open it up while the other played lookout.
After bagging a bunch of change they walked out and drove away with their loot in a BMW.
The manager was able to give Placer County Sheriff's deputies a description of the getaway car and deputies were able to catch the men on Interstate-80.
