This is a crock of bull. The boaters on the sound that "chased" the pod of dolphins into Hempstead were not concerned for the safety of these dolphins! They were cutting th pod off, breaking htem up and speeding up on top of them to get their videos and photos. I, for one, am disgusted and ashamed of the boaters who obviously could not leave these beautiful creatures alone!

Your average dolphin is smarter than the morons who post their irrational ravings on message boards like this one. Dolphins have been known to keep sharks away from sailors in the water. Be nice to them and stay at least 150 ft away. They are Federally protected. Coast Guard, ENCON, and local marine police will be watching your morons out there.
