BORN: Sept. 15, 1926, in Coeburn, Va. DIED: Aug. 5, 2009, in San Antonio MILITARY: Navy 1942-1949; Army 1949-1979 SURVIVED BY: His wife, Haeng Ja Horne; two sons, Edward E. Horne and Edward A. Horne In 1942, Everette Franklin Horne wanted nothing more than to join the war effort.
