thats the way volunteer firefighters are, they think they have all the power and can turn lights and sirens on and get through traffic, regardless what happens to others. He or she needs to be pulled off of whatever fire dept they work for. Be a man or woman and admit to what you have done, someone could have been killed.

I agree some further education should be done here, but........

Most volunteer firefighters are people who will go to great lengths to get the job done. They work regular jobs and some are retired.
They do this for free!!! No pay hence the name Volunteer.; )

When you lump all the volunteers into one group in a negative way, that shows severe ignorance on your part.

The only point that you have made here is that you have no clue as to what these folks do.

I do have a suggestion though.

Do a rideout.
attend a meeting
and god forbid you should attend a firefighters funeral, because if you did, you would be so ashamed of yourself that it would most likely require psych help to get you through it!

If after all this you don't see these HERO'S in a different light, I can only say "drive careful and check the batteries in your smoke detector"!

For one, I dont need psychhelp, I have many friends and family members in fire depts, they do risk there lives everytime they are called out. and my heart goes out to every other one out there, but if you cause someone to have an accident due to no emergency, have the nerveto go back and help them, if they are ok, then go on your way. I have saw many volunteer firefighters just turn those sirens and lights on to show off in front of friends or to hurry and get through raffic. I am in no way dogging out firemen. I was not lumping all volunteers into one group, just those careless ones. I do drive carefully because I cant depend on anyone else to doit for me

After this statement; "thats the way volunteer firefighters are, they think they have all the power and can turn lights and sirens on and get through traffic"

You may have less friends in the fire service!

well, as a matter of fact, everybody always wants to pick on the VF's, but EMS is just as bad. and BEST ambulance is number one. i have seen them numerous of times hit lights and sirens just to get through stop lights in crab orchard and sophia. and low n behold it was Mr. Ryan Bragg and Steven Howell themselves. there was no emergency. ask me how i know?? 12 yrs. of personally knowing the guys and working in fire/ems, it would be pretty hard to mistake them for someone else...

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Leo

Be choosy about who you spend time with today. If you're with someone who's habitually miserable or sorry for themselves, you'll soon be dragged down to their level and will struggle to recover again. However, you may feel such sympathy for their plight that you don't see you have any choice but to be with them. If so, do your best to remain positive.
