Teen charged with multiple car break-ins in indictment

A teen who was arrested three times in January faces several charges in an indictment handed down on April 10. Nicholas Toth, 18, of Lebanon Township was charged with three counts of burglary, third degree; theft, fourth degree and hindering apprehension, fourth degree.

Two-car crash at WalMart plaza leads to charges against High Bridge man

Det. Timothy Snyder, Jr. was called out to a two-vehicle accident in the WalMart Plaza at 2:17 p.m. on April 6. An investigation revealed that Randy J. Treiber, 60, of High Bridge, had been operating his vehicle in the WalMart Plaza and made a right turn and struck another vehicle operated by Maryilou R. Caponpon, 53, of Clinton.

Clinton woman arrested on Newark, Elizabeth warrants

CLINTON TWP. - A Clinton woman ended up in the county jail after a policeman stopped the car she was riding in on March 26 around 1:15 a.m. Patrolman Umair Latif stopped a 2006 Chevrolet coupe on Center Street at Clinton Point for multiple alleged violations and noticed that backseat passenger Tahisha Bakr, 38, was not wearing her seatbelt.
