Md. Jail Guards Silent in Death Probe
"We all understand that the death of this kid is tragic. However, his actions that led to him being in that predicament don't even begin to rise to the level of the sacrifice that Findley made," said Vince Canales, president of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 89. "Everybody needs to take a minute and focus solely on putting him to rest. We'll get back to the investigation when we have properly buried Corporal Findley."
Mr. Canales, having already declared Ronnie White guilty by his statements, obviously understands that his 'brothers' have something to hide. Perhaps they all just need time to get their stories in sync.
County Executive Jack B. Johnson (D). Johnson said late Monday that seven guards and an undisclosed number of supervisors had access to White, a Howard County resident. He said police are not suspected in his death.
Remember this last line as the citizens of Prince George's County move to REMOVE Jack Johnson from office.Inmate death 'vigilante justice,' official says
A prisoner killed in a Maryland county jail on Sunday was a victim of "vigilante justice," Prince George's County's Chief Executive Jack Johnson said.
This comes just days after Johnson vehemently assured the citizens that White, 19, was NOT murdered while in Police custody.
Appearing on the front page of CNN.com today, now the entire country is aware of the long and distinguished history of PG County and it's vigilante police department.
The entire scenario smacks of Terrence Johnson. In 1978 Johnson was convicted of shooting and killing two PG County Policemen who were brutalizing him. 17 years later, in what's widely believed to be a police 'sting', Johnson was cornered by police during a faux-robbery and "committed suicide".
Prince George's County Maryland Law Enforcement has a long history of ineptitude and brutality, seldom resulting in convictions or discipline for the offending officers.
It's high time Prince George's County Law Enforcement was held accountable for it's actions, before another tragedy occurs.
