Zachary man found guilty in shooting death of football standout
A Zachary man was convicted Thursday in the March 2012 shooting death of a former Clinton High School and Southern University football player while they rode in a car on Interstate 110 South near the Chippewa Street exit.

A man and a woman were booked in Parish Prison Sunday night and are accused of participating in an Oct. 28 robbery in a Zachary residence where they stole a man's money and a cell phone, and then beat him to the point where he required treatment at a Baton Rouge hospital.
