The man who pleaded guilty to driving drunk and killing seven people in a crash wants the judge to reconsider his sentence.

An East Feliciana Parish grand jury returned a second-degree murder indictment Tuesday against a Clinton man in a 2011 fatal beating.

The city of Baker will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Baker post office with a 5 p.m. Friday gathering at the park adjacent to the Baker Municipal Building.

The lodge's two-year dyslexia program had its first class begin in May 2011. The first class will graduate in September.
