Gian Gonzalez, a 26-year-old Clermont man, was headed north on County Road 561 just south of Cypress Landing Avenue in Clermont about 12:39 a.m. Gonzalez was driving a 2006 Mazda sedan and was accompanied by an unidentified 24-year-old Clermont man.

Lake County invites gun, ammo makers to relocate from out-of-state

Lake County wants to become a hub for gun and ammunition makers. Officials said gun makers that aren't feeling welcome in other states can relocate to the Christopher Ford Industrial Park on the Florida Turnpike and U.S. 27.
