Is it just me or should the candidate have studied all the issues facing Tazewell County and be more prepared to serve to the best of their ability..... if they were elected.

I think the board will be hearing the results of one of the studies some time next week, they probably should not make a decision until all studies have been completed and reviewed.

Shouldn't the people who own the property determine what is built on it. After all it is theirs and in many cases it is how they make their living.

If you're referring to the ridge line ordinance, action on it is a little while off. It's a complicated ordinance that may need some fine tuning. I hope the county planning commission and also economic development commission will get some new faces soon.
