Johnson Co. Sheriff's comp time topic of Quorum Court meeting
The Johnson County Quorum Court discussed comp time and staffing issues at the Sheriff's Department during its August meeting at the courthouse in Clarksville. Sheriff Larry Jones informed justices of the peace that five of the 11 patrol deputies will leave within a month for jobs with better pay and benefits, including health insurance.
