Teens charged with robbery, kidnapping

Dakato lost his mom and step dad in a car wreck when he was 10. Moved in with his grandparents and his grandmother is basically bedbound with arthritis,grandpaw fell over dead with a heart attack.Basically this kid has no one to raise him. That doesnt make what he did right.

Yea he did sort of have it rough. Think of his Uncle... Almost dies in car wreck, looses his sister, looses his father, and his mother is almost bedridden. He isn't out robbing anyone. You must know the family. But not like I do. How is it that you know all of this?

I know his uncle Dylan. He has blown through all the money he received when his grandfather died a few yrs ago and now trying to get on disablilty. His wife just went to work at walgreens . They have 2 children.No dylan is not out robbing anyone. He dont have to, he lives off his mother who is paying all the bills and helping to raise his kids.

Just telling it like it is. Dylan was in a bad wreck on the old shelby road when a tractor trailer ran over the car he was driving. He used to live in a trailor on salem road when he was a kid.His dad was clyde and so was his grandfather.The both ran stores. His grandfather ran a pool room yrs ago and before he died, he married a lady and they went to tenn alot. he lived on george hildebran road on the right n a brick house. Dylan and his family moved here from arz.His sister came with a boyfriend who she dumped after they moved here. Her name was vivian and the guy she was with when killed was named Jimmy and he had been in trouble alot. Dylans mom has fibromyalgia ( bet you cant even say it much less spell it) and used to swim in the pond before clyde died. Exercise is the best thing for fibromyalgia.Dylan bought into a car repair shop that didnt work out. You guys live with Donna. Dylan doesnt work. Donna draws a ck from ss for dakaota until he turns 18. He recently turned 17.

Sounds like you are from around the Advent crossroads not Goldsboro. You must know then that Donna and Dylan have tried to help Dakota every chance they had. When he was in Morganton who were the only people that went to see him and when he was in South Campus several times and now jail? You can talk about Viv and Jimmy, the guy she moved out here with was named Danny by the way. You can bring up Donna, Dylan, Pedro,or any other names you would like to bring up but you are missing the point. Dakota has once again floored everyone doing what he did. You must know about what he did in 8th grade. Two different occasions. The stealing, dealing, and now turning into a violent person. This topic is about a robbery not about his whole life or his family. Why don't you just call out here to the house so we can set any personal problems straight so this page can talk about the robbery.

And oh to add...Donna isnt living off any ss money. That money is rarely touched. Dylan is working and defiantly not on or trying to get on any disability. Donna sure as hell isn't paying our bills. He left the body shop right b4 the economy took a turn and no one could be happier b/c he would have had to put money out to keep the place going. If it were not for him the maintenance on this home would be neck high. Sounds like to me you are aware of the history of the Starnes family but are not close to what the actual truth is behind the doors, so i say again get your hear say straight and call us b/c you are not looking too good.

I didnt say I was from goldsboro, my provider is. I actually live in Newton. I didnt say no one tried to help dakato. Also while he was at south campus, we went to see him quite a few times. some times he had caused trouble and was not allowed vistors.

I think you both need therapy for your social issues not This Punk ass Dylan. OHHHH poor guy, instead of turing his life around and a family member taking him in, lets let him be a thug..Hope he never gets out.

I can guarantee that there are no social issues. You have no reason to begin with coming on here calling Dylan a punk ass. I agree with Dakota doing the time he has coming to him. The court system has let him off way too easy ever since he took the gun to his middle school almost 5 yrs ago. We received a call last week and Dakota is being charged with 3 more b&e in claremont from the end of September. We have gone so far to have him in an out of home placement in another county to a teen camp that will do more good than hurt and no one would accept him, though he was a perfect candidate, because he is a habitual runaway. We were going to try and let his grandfather in texas take him for a little while to switch his environment but he has alcohol issues so that would defeat the purpose. He can def make his own decisions and he has done everything to himself; all the same, his troubles started when he began getting in mix ups with the Trivette family that introduced him into the constant use of drugs. He doesnt take authority seriously and telling him to stay put and find alternate recreation that was ordered not given as an option, went through one ear and out the other. Dakota does what Dakota wants. I knew he would get off with the growing pot and trying to kill Dylan but eventually he would screw up to the point of now or wind up seriously hurt or dead somewhere.
