'Most wanted' face drug counts
Two of Mobile County's most wanted men who were captured at an Ocean Springs hotel were in jail in Jackson County Wednesday, facing drug manufacturing charges here.
Acting on a tip, U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force agents found brothers Mark and Jerry Fowler at the U.S. 90 Twin Pines Hotel early Tuesday evening.
Curtis Spiers, commander of the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County, said his agents went to the scene after authorities found the ingredients to manufacture methamphetamine in the brothers' hotel room and a rolling meth lab in their van parked outside. Read more
