CHESTERFIELD, Ind. - A suit filed against five former Chesterfield officials seeking repayment of $259,000 they allegedly took in town funds came as a surprise to two town council members contacted Tuesday.

CHESTERFIELD -Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller on Monday filed a lawsuit demanding five former Chesterfield town employees - including former Clerk-Treasurer Chris Parrish and ex-town marshal James Kimm - repay more than $259,000 in public funds they are accused of stealing.
