Man trapped chest-deep in marsh rescued by Chesapeake firefighters
Officials with the Chesapeake Fire Department said units were called to S. Military Highway and Shell Road -- in the Deep Creek area -- around 7:30 a.m. Firefighters arrived on scene to find the man yelling for help. The man was safely pulled out of the marsh just after 8 a.m. Officials said the man's injuries indicated that he had been in the water for "some time."
