Widow charged in 1986 shooting

A former Ohio woman who has been widowed five times has been charged with solicitation of murder in the death of her fourth husband in North Carolina.

There's usually a fair amount of planning involved. Usually women poison. The gun blasts are a bit out of character. I'm a bit surprised: none of the investigations must have asked that most BASIC of questions when they have a dead spouse and one left standing. "WHO GAINS?"

Did it occur to you, mebbe, that they would investigate all the potential crimes to find the most amount of evidence to convict? You are correct in one conviction is tantamount to a death sentence, but ya still gotta win the jury.
