We were without power for 210 hours and 24 minutes-going on 9 days. They were off from Friday to Sunday. We were blessed to have found a karosean heater in Logan for $100.00. It was a blessing that we found it and at that price. Thank the Lord for electricity.

My power was out a week & my family lost all food in refrigerator & deep freezer. I was told only if you were on public assistance could you get help. I think this is sad! If you work for a living they should recognize your loss of food too!!! Why is someone Else's loss greater?

We were without power for 10 days. Alot of people here didn't have generators and lost not only refigerator but also deep freezers full of food. The realy sad thing is the elderdy on fixed income have to start stocking up all over. What makes it worse is where do the working mans tax dollars go? The working people are keeping the people up that are in the system. If you are unable to work fine you should get assistance. But if it's just lazyness then get a job. We get paid every two weeks. We will recover but what about the old people on fixed incomes?

Bob, did you buy your own generator or did the CC give it to you?

Haven't you figured it out? We are penalized for working. The same thing happened to one of my family members. She was told that the amount on her food stamp card would be doubled and when she said she wasn't on food stamps, she was told "well then you're not eligable" What a sad society we live in. Those who work are never eligable for a break.... We have to pay for those who are. Sometimes it makes you want to quit your job and get on public assistance. Wouldn't have to worry about bills, food, or medical care.

You would not know what to do with a generator if you had one, but sell it for crack.

Daily Horoscope for March 21

Cancer

The day may start off with a bang as friends and associates continue to call, but by evening you're ready to spend some time alone. The changing Moon enters your twelfth house of secrets and solitude this evening, urging you to spend a quiet night recharging your spiritual batteries. If you must attend a social function, you may find it is easier to listen to others than to say much yourself.
