I think that is a good idea if they can get enough because my family went a week with out power so we got a generator and they didn't have any more karoseam because the stores had signs in the window that said they were out of it

We were without power for 210 hours and 24 minutes-going on 9 days. They were off from Friday to Sunday. We were blessed to have found a karosean heater in Logan for $100.00. It was a blessing that we found it and at that price. Thank the Lord for electricity.

Thank God the power came back on.

My power was out a week & my family lost all food in refrigerator & deep freezer. I was told only if you were on public assistance could you get help. I think this is sad! If you work for a living they should recognize your loss of food too!!! Why is someone Else's loss greater?

We were without power for 10 days. Alot of people here didn't have generators and lost not only refigerator but also deep freezers full of food. The realy sad thing is the elderdy on fixed income have to start stocking up all over. What makes it worse is where do the working mans tax dollars go? The working people are keeping the people up that are in the system. If you are unable to work fine you should get assistance. But if it's just lazyness then get a job. We get paid every two weeks. We will recover but what about the old people on fixed incomes?

Bob, did you buy your own generator or did the CC give it to you? |
||||
Haven't you figured it out? We are penalized for working. The same thing happened to one of my family members. She was told that the amount on her food stamp card would be doubled and when she said she wasn't on food stamps, she was told "well then you're not eligable" What a sad society we live in. Those who work are never eligable for a break.... We have to pay for those who are. Sometimes it makes you want to quit your job and get on public assistance. Wouldn't have to worry about bills, food, or medical care. |

I bought lots of beer and stayed drunk

Well hell on you! My vibrator plugs in and I do need that electricity!! Bumazz.. |

I'll tell you the best ting to do in a case like in dec if it happens again go out side and get enough snow to pack your deep freezer as full of snow as you can it will give you at least an extra few days, i was with out power for the 9 days as well andpacked mine with snow and when the power came back on the turkeys were still hard as a rock in my deep freezer.
|
||||
I was hard as a rock too |

|
You turkey!!!
|

You would not know what to do with a generator if you had one, but sell it for crack.
