Monson man charged after alleged road rage

A 34-year-old Monson man was arraigned Thursday in Orleans District Court on multiple kidnapping and assault charges after he allegedly terrorized a New York family during a road rage incident in Eastham. Jacob Prevost, formerly of Chatham, is charged with four counts of kidnapping and four counts of assault from the incident Wednesday evening at the intersection of Route 6 and Samoset Road, according to court records.

Fishing Boat Runs Aground In Chatham

A 40-foot fishing boat, "Never Enough," ran aground in Chatham Harbor on Wednesday morning, a US Coast Guard spokesperson told Boston.com. According to Ocean Mate First Class Derek Seehagen of the Chatham Coast Guard Station, there was one person on board who was rescued and uninjured.

Worker seriously injured by falling pine tree

A 28-year-old arborist from Chatham was flown to a Boston hospital Monday after a tree fell on him, causing serious injuries, Harwich police and fire officials said. Tree work was being done at 145 Round Cove Road when a pine tree cut by a fellow worker fell on Joseph Razinha around 2:20 p.m., they said.
