What an idiot, there has never been a figure of 2.5 billion mentioned and if they are only offering 1 dollar a foot, you are free to decline.

You can decline the dollar a ft. but eventually they will go across your property anyway. No different than the state putting a road where your house is. If they want it, they will get it.

The pipeline will be following a rail road bed for a while then Rt 11.
Spurs will be dug to consumers.

I'm not sure what the original poster was getting at, sounds like he was dissapointed that the gas line was being built at all.
Where he got the 2.5 billion dollar figure vis a mystery.

No, the sub text of the post is still the same, a whiny, disgusting, indirect attack on the project.
Why doesn't the poster just come out and say that unless he gets rich off the pipeline, he opposes it and all the enviromental and economic benifit it brings.

The poster is one of a large minority of north country people who are negative about everything no matter what it is and people like you are their enablers who pretend to be noble by defending them against mean folks who call them names.
