Beginning Monday, June 17, SouthPark will be hosting two ultra fun weeks of activities and entertainment just for you kids.

"Dine Out For Kids" is June 18 this year: That's when restaurants donate a portion of their day's gross sales to Communities in Schools, which works to encourage students to stay in school, with support from partnerships with service agencies, businesses, faith communities and more.

Charlotte's Hazmat team was called to the SouthPark area shortly before noon Wednesday to deal with a natural gas line leak.
