Movie-Goers Targeted By Thieves In Upper Darby
Police in Delaware County are searching for some movie theater thieves who made off with cash and credit cards.
Laura Watts and her sister went to see a movie at the AMC theater in Chadds Ford earlier this month and became a victim of crime.
"We sat down, I put my pocketbook on the floor," Watts said.
Police said the suspect stole $100 and two credit cards from Watts and went on a shopping spree. The suspect racked up $1,300 in purchases in a matter of hours in Upper Darby Township.

Chadds Ford Double Murder Suspect Committed
A man accused of murdering an elderly Chadds Ford couple was committed to a state hospital after a Delaware County court determined he was unfit to stand trial Thursday.
Walter Rosengarth, 68, was charged in the deaths of 81-year-olds Miles and Mary Warner in December 2002.
It was previously determined that Rosengarth, who worked as handyman for the couple, is a paranoid schizophrenic. He confessed to shooting the Warners because he believed they had been poisoning his coffee.
A judge ruled he will be held at Norristown State Hospital for 60 days of treatment. Read more
