Suspect sought in Center Line break-in

The Center Line Public Safety Department is looking for information leading to the arrest of a suspect accused of breaking into Van Dyke Gas Co., on Sherwood Avenue, south of Rinke Avenue, early Aug. 26. The suspect, described only as a white man, was recorded by a surveillance camera at 12:45 a.m. pulling up to the business in a black Ford extended-cab pickup truck. Detectives reportedly observed footage of the man throwing a pipe through the glass door and entering the building.
