Eaglecrest HS principal, athletic director on administrative leave over ineligible football player
The principal and athletic director at Eaglecrest High School in Centennial have been placed on administrative leave because of a football player who took the field last year despite being ineligible. Principal Gwen Hansen-Vigil and athletic director Vince Orlando were made aware of the player's ineligibility last year "and chose not to take action," according to a letter from Cherry Creek Schools Superintendent Scott Siegfried to Eaglecrest parents.
