Jean H. Rost, age 88, formerly of Cedar Crest, N.M., and Cortez, Colo., passed away on Thursday, May 2, in San Antonio.She was born on April 22, 1925, in Angola, Ind., to Ray and Gladys Howe.Jean was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Rost, sons Stephen and Greg Rost, and daughter Susan Rost Crofton.

As their children tell it, Ida's family is from Los Lunas and Herman's from San Jos, but the two grew up in the same Santa Fe neighborhood where they met and fell in love.
