Colbert, 46, of Altavista, Va., was charged June 6 with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop. *Joanne B. Green, 44, of Dundee, was charged June 6 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop. *Tabitha R. Sypien, 29, of Cayuta, was charged June 7 with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop. *Zachary D. Hulett, 19, of Canisteo, and Josh W. Henshaw of Hornell, was charged June 10 with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on county Route 119 in the town of Canisteo. He was also charged with not flagging a canoe hanging off his vehicle. *Cody A. Teed, 23, of Hornell, was arrested June 9 on a violation of probation warrant. *A 16-year-old Galeton youth was charged June 10 with petit larceny at the Wal-Mart in Erwin. *The Steuben County Sheriff's Office executed a second search warrant Wednesday after the arrest of a Wayland man last week. Derrick R. Simmons, 43, of Main Street, was arrested June 6 on drug and weapons charges after a search of his house. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The second search warrant was issued for assets contained in Simmons' safe deposit box at the Five Star Bank in Wayland. The search resulted in the seizure of $31,000 of suspected proceeds from illegal drug activity.
