i have to agree when you told that girls in jpan are like girls in anywhere in world girls are girls and minimal cultural circunstances don't affect this at all. i think -and some of my friends think so-that some women in japan are very ''approchable'' but there are girls so cold too, REPORTER said that SOME japanese guys say many bad things about foreingrs and spread lies about us , this is raw truth...

Oh and the secret to talking to more than one Japanese girls at a time is to talk to the whole group, hit on all of them not just one. its unlikely you are going to have much luck approaching a large group of woman. when a girls is with her friends, she is using her friends as a sounding board. so if you approach to her to talk to her, you not only have her two eyes judging you, but you have all the eyes of her friends. when you walk away, even it's with her phone number or with a smile, they are going to respond and judge you as well. and if you did well with all six of them it will work, but if you did wrong with by just one of them you are sh*t out of luck. the best bet is to approach a woman when she is by herself in a place where she is maybe trying to meet a
man. well its just my view point

Yeah, that also goes for Japanese style decision making in business; lets say 5 of them like your idea, but then theres that nerdy guy in the corner feeling all threatened by the colour of your tie or the colour of your skin, and they ll go along with him because they dont want him-the insider-to feel bad or left out because of you, the outsider.
"Uchi" and "soto" is a big deal.

Decisions have to unanimous, or at least not actively opposed, and so theres a lot of watering down. Thats why, e.g. Japanese pop music is a load of shit, because they had to include the brass section with the heavy metal guitar as a compromise.

Japanese girls are high maintenance. They were accustomed to a good lifestyle, now thats gone belly up, so if a foreigner can be made to foot the bill for dinner, thats great.

maybe Shanghai is better? a bit cheaper too>? Do enlighten us.
