Cooper's Bar-B-Q is Cowtown-bound

The biggest name in Hill Country barbecue is coming to Fort Worth.
Cooper's Old-Time Pit Bar-B-Q, famous as a Texas Monthly barbecue favorite, will open a location by fall on Northwest 28th Street near the Stockyards.
It's one of three Texas locations that Llano-based Cooper's will add.
This Cooper's, on a hill in the parking lot north of Billy Bob's Texas, will have the same open pit and thick pork chops and sirloins as the original.
Plus -- unlike its neighbors -- it'll have 'more free parking than anyplace in Fort Worth,' said Barry Cooper, family member and owner of the Fort Worth location. Read more
