Flint Hills wildflower and pasture tours scheduled
The 17th annual Flint Hills prairie and pasture tour is scheduled for June 11. Two tours will be held, one at 1:15 p.m., the other at 6:15 p.m. Participants will ride in a school bus caravan that will stop at pasture sites in Butler and Chase counties.
Doni Rogers attended Bible study last Tuesday at Burns Community Building. Visitors of Everett and Janet Cress this past week were Dan and Toni Fletcher, Luke and Jake Wessell, and Joe Roland, all of Cedar Point, and Shealah Gulick and David West of Newton.
New guide booklet features Kansas Scenic Byways
The booklet, which features the works of several Kansas photographers, includes an insert of the byways map on one side and Kansas wildflowers on the other.
