Orlando officer named in fatal downtown shooting

A veteran K-9 handler for the Orlando Police Department was the officer who was involved in yesterday's deadly shooting.

nice job proof reading. It lists the officers name in the second paragraph...then in the second to last paragraph it says that the officers name has not been released.

First rate operation you guys got there at teh Sentinel.

That so called hotel on Colonial needs to be CLOSED; its been nothing but trouble since it was converted and now look what is happening. Its certainly affecting the property values of the surounding area.

I cannot agree more that there are too many thugs and criminals in the Orlando area, but how does any person have the right to say "Good job on killing that man"

Good job for arresting him or getting him off the streets, but how can any one be relieved to hear of a person dying, no matter who it is.
He has a family, a mom, a sister, maybe you should consider their feelings.
Maybe I'm just not as perfect as you are, but I can respect others.
