A midnight ride through a Monroe County field has left a 22-year-old man in critical condition with head injuries... Joseph Miller of Norwalk fell onto a rock early today, after riding atop a car on land along County Highway T near Norwalk.

Highway 33 resurfacing to begin Monday, delays expected
Work on another stretch of the highway begins Monday morning. The project includes resurfacing 8 1/2 miles from the La Crosse County-Monroe County line towards Cashton.

Resurfacing work on WIS 33 to begin Aug. 11
Crews will be resurfacing 8.5 miles of WIS 33 from the La Crosse/Monroe County line to WIS 27 near Cashton beginning Monday, August 11. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said WIS 33 will remain open to one lane of traffic during construction and there will be periodic flagging operations.
