Iran Cries Out For Democracy, Where Is President Obama?

I am somewhat shocked and appalled about President Obama’s slow response as to the unprecedented events currently taking place in Iran which beckons America and all of the free world’s support. I understand that their must not be a rush to judgement however a stern admonishment that a fair election process should have occurred and that the Iranian peoples true selection should have been respected be respected! This should have been immediately and deeply expressed by our President whom I voted for and continue to support. Although I am not Iranian or Persian, I truly believe that it is in our best interest to allow the Iranian people to bring about real change which will in my opinion bring about stabilization for that part of the region. Mir-Hossein Mousavi of the Independent reformist party clearly believed that in the area that he (Mousavi) allegedly controlled, as evidenced by the protest there that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his cohorts may have perpetrated significant voter fraud and the election was later sanctioned by the Ayatollah Khamenei the ultimate religious ruler in Iran. I think what is really important is the fact that people in Iran want a change and are not mindless drones. We as Americans should truly understand that as we were once a colony of Britain and gained our freedom to become the great nation we are today. Can you imagine a Carson or any south bay city election being rigged? I just hope that the Iranians defeat the chains of tyranny and truly live in a democracy some day.
