Sodomy Arrest in Carrollton, Kentucky

It saddens me that each artical about the Pate Case reads that he is an Assistant Youth Pastor or former Assistant Youth Pastor. The was a former assistant with the youth and with the minors involved, that is an impotant factor. Children are precious and it's a shame that they need to be protected. The United Pentecostal Church of Carrollton are good people and they love and support their youth. The Pastor discerned something in this Pate man's spirit to pull him out of the youth program. No one should try to pull the church down or the Pastor but uplift them in prayer so that they may help the families involved. Don't point your finger at God or the Church when a member allows satan to take over them. Many, many hearts are broken. Focus on getting justice. Focus on helping these precious children and not on percecuting the body of God.

holy crap! are you insane? My experience with that church so far is not a good one. I'm sure good people attend but the ones i know lie and hide behind their skirts and the church. I wish i could say just one but no many that i have had the displeasure of knowing including the new pastor has disappointed me tremendously! I would NOT go to this church nor would i recommend it to anyone ever!

All I can say is wow. He was not a former youth assistant. He was a youth assisstant when he got arrested.

He was not a youth assistant nor was he ever a youth pastor. What normal parent lets their children hang out with a married 27 year old man alone away from church and not think something is strange.It is terrible that everyone wants to blame a church or church body for the actions of another person who obviously was not living a christian life...he seemed like he was living right...but he had everyone fooled including his wife and close friends and family.n The children and his close friends and family I'm sure are in shock and they still porbably don't know what to think about someone that they spent time with. It is time to move on...prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law and everybody move on!!!!

If you are a real christians posting these comments, you should be praying for the whole situation. You can't blame a man of GOD, for someones sin, just like you can't blame GOD. A man of GOD can only tell us how to live they can't hold our hands 24 hours a day, just like jesus can't, everything is by free will, including what happened here. This man new it was wrong, and yes he needs to be punished for what he did, but remember he still a soul and if anyone needs prayer its him. I know a pentacostal who enabled her son to get away with murdering 2 people while he was high on drugs and she enables him to be a drug dealer. Any mother who continues to lie for their child and continues to bail them out is not a woman of God I dont care what anyone says. That family can tell all the lies they want, the prof is in the files!!! You want it,read it. He was high on drugs and put a pregnant woman on a bike with no license or insuranse and kept the helmet for him self. That is not an accident!!!!!! And She goes to that church. Surprise surprise

She was also very high on drugs and new she was pregnant when she got on there, 7 months actually! The baby was only one pound at that time so dont tell me that she wasnt already endangering her life as well as the baby! I know the facts and its sad but he didnt kill her nor should he be charged with it. she knew very well what she was doing when she hopped on there. People need to learn to let go.......

Unfortunately you'll find hypocrites in all walks of life! While I don't know the Folk's in that particular Church it is wrong to claim that all Pentecostals are bad! I strongly believe that this is the exception not the rule! I also strongly believe that if Guilty he oughtta be severely punished! Neither God nor the Apostolic Pentecostal doctrine approves of that type of behavior! In fact I don't know of any Christian denomination that approves of that kind of sick perverted behavior!

God says we all will have our judgement day! So remember he is coming, but will it be fore you?

You are an idiot and you know nothing everything you said is a lie. check the hospital record she had nothing in her system he had several AND i held her she was NOT one pound you stupida**! Last I heard he is being charged so insted of arguing the point pray for the families of these people and someone please tell me how his mother caused htis last I checked he was and still is and adult when are people going to stop blaming the mother everytime some jackass screws up it could just as easily be argued that her mother didn't do a good job either after all she got onto the bike now how fair is that it's not now is it?

His mother is only guilty because she continued to lie and bail him out of jail. As a mother at some point you have to tell your children hey you messed up and i.m not getting you of jail. Sit there maybe you will never come back. If you enable your child to be a monster, they will be.

If i killed two people, and it was truly an accident, heaven and earth could not stop me from showing true remorse and sadness for my actions that caused death. I would not flaunt a girl with me when i went to court. I would not be vulgar in court and flick my tongue at the mother of the person i killed. I would not bring two children to court with my new girlfriend. I would not stay in jail for my sons entire life. Nothing could stop me from putting my arms around that mother and begging for forgiveness for the role i played in the deaths.I would spend my life trying to make it right somehow. He has shown no remorse what so ever for their deaths. I believe somehow in the end god will punish him far greater than any court system could.
