6 to be arrested in probe of Florida inmates' escape
Two convicted murderers who allegedly used forged documents to escape from a Florida prison and four other people will be arrested in connection with an alleged scheme that helped the pair temporarily go free, a spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Thursday.

Bikers usher in holiday season
The Franklin Toy Project got off to roaring start Saturday afternoon, as a caravan or motorcyclists streamed from Carrabelle to Apalachicola comprised of some cool cats on bikes, and two little dogs.
Kincaid to lead Carrabelle police force
At the Nov. 7 city meeting, Carrabelle commissioners learned that Chief Joe Ham would retire on Dec. 31. Ham recommended that Deputy Chief Craig Kincaid be promoted to fill his vacated post.
