I cannont understand on any level why this group of people are still in office. The politics of Carpentersville plays out like a bad sitcom. They argue over personal differences like children, always wanting the last word. A sex scandal that has led to a trustee being convicted of a crime has now become a competition of wills and pride instead of focusing on the needs and business of the people and town of Carpentersville. The Mayor needs to TAKE AUTHORITY and stop trying to convince the Trustees that he indeed has it, and the Trustees need to behave like adults and finish their term fulfilling their duty to the people of Carpentersville with some sense of dignity. In my opinion, this entire board acts like a student counsil group in middle school, instead of a government.
