It has been fascinating for me to read the depth of emotion on some of the other comment boards about this case, including the complete lack of knowledge of addiction matters. This just underscores the need of our society to settle the issue of drugs and drug use in the legal arena. There is also a double standard in how the law is applied, and until that is rectified, this issue will be an open sore.
Let's hope that this individual can now move on to continued recovery and a new career outside the medical field. |
