North Star Bearcats Lose on the First Round
The North Star Boys played a hard fought game against the North Sargent Bobcats Thursday, March 19. The boys started out playing hard and that continued throughout. There was plenty of rough play in this game. Hagler was knocked down hard and sustained a cut to his forehead that resulted in blood on the court. The boys were out rebouned by the Bobcats and out scored. The final score was 74 to 63 with the North Sargent team staying ahead the whole time. The North Star boys had the game tied at certain times during the night, but could never seem to jump the hurdle of scoring more then the Bobcats. This young team was beat out by more experienced Seniors. The only consolodation for these young men is that they will almost certainly make it to State next Basketball season.
