Host homes for Spanish students needed ASAP
Global Friendships, Inc., Program Coordinators Erica Fitzpatrick and Julie Taylor are, quite frankly, in panic mode, as 30 Spanish students are scheduled to arrive in the United States for a nearly-month-long stay June 30, yet at least 14 of the students have yet to be placed in host homes.
Canajoharie Fire Dept. receives donation from Price Chopper
The Canajoharie Volunteer Fire Department recently received a donation from the Price Chopper of Palatine Bridge for holding their "Fire Fighter Appreciation Day" there on May 18. Proceeds included donations from the store, customers, and from raffles and refreshments that the Price Chopper Team sold on that day.
