Cessation program to help firefighters who smoke

Several York city firefighters are excited about the debut of a smoking -cessation program sponsored by the statewide firefighters union, said Fred DeSantis, president of the city's local.

Most of the firefighter unions have health insurance that does cover smoking-cessation. I do not agree with a workman's comp. case for someone who's cancer came from smoking. How will determinations be made for those firefighter who smoke?

Tell me who you know that has had cancer and a definite link to smoking. I have never seen that diagnose before and many experts as well would love to see this new information. Just as many non-smokers get cancer in comparison to smokers and there is no direct link to tobacco and cancer.
