Raymond W. Varner, 72, was westbound on Business U.S. 50 in California, Mo. when he made a right turn onto Highway 87, and struck a vehicle driven by Amy L. Miller, 38, of Russellville, and was ejected from his vehicle, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Students in the Camdenton school district started school on Tuesday.
