Share the Season is an annual campaign to raise money for people facing adversity. The people are not named to protect their privacy.

Last year, the 41-year-old mother was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy.

She has since had two heart attacks and kidney failure and is unable to work.

Her husband, 33, works as a bricklayer during the day and attends classes at Friends University at night, studying to become an accountant.
