Nearly five months after it was forced to close its gates due to a scandal where employees were excavating graves and reselling them at a profit, Burr Oak Cemetery is expected to re-open to the public Thursday.

Burials have quietly resumed at a southwest suburban cemetery that was the center of a criminal investigation all summer long.
