Just how many of the folks who are complaining have lived there since before the airport existed? Their the only ones who have the right to complain, the rest knew the airport was there and moved in anyway.

I dispise people who willingly move next to something they consider to be undesirable and then damand other people suck it up and change so that they can have a better life.

If you move into a neighborhood zoned for farming don't complain about the dust and the fertilizer. If you move next to horse property don't complain about the odor of the poop. If you move next to a business zone don't complain about the noise they make on second shift, and if you move next to an airport put up with the noise or MOVE somewhere else.

I'm in sherman oaks. I hear the planes during the day. So? Soundproof my apt? Not going to happen. Would I rather kill biz travel in this town? NO! I like being able to go to burbank and fly north or east. stupid Brad Sherman! You are a biz killing twit! Retire, go home, suck an egg!

Ignorant...the airport was exceeding noise limits and growth since the 60's. The airport was built-up after the surrounding communities and, according to its charter, never meant to be more than a small region airport.

Sherman Oaks? You can hear the planes slightly compared to Burbank. Who are you trying to kid....

The noise is horrible in Burbank. You said it Mark. Obviously those people don't own. It's not just the noise - it's the vibrations as well. Oh..and where's the Air Quality Pollution control in this report? Noise is one thing but what about quality of life. It's not like we have an ocean breeze to take the muck to San Gabriel.

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Cancer

Today's New Moon in your sixth house reminds you not to neglect your health or general well-being. It's the ideal time to arrange a check-up with your doctor or dentist, or to follow up a medical query. Cancerians love yummy food, and the festive season is hardly the best time to start a diet, but you still might want to monitor your calorie intake.
