Traffic stop yields 2 pounds of pot, 6 guns

A traffic stop made by Russell County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday morning resulted in the discovery of more than 2 pounds of marijuana and six firearms, at least one of which has been confirmed stolen, according to a statement released by the sheriff's office. Omar Barajas-Diaz, Guanajuato, Mexico, was taken into custody after officers discovered drug paraphernalia in plain sight within the vehicle.
