Police: Buford Shooting Was Murder-Suicide

Police have ruled the shooting deaths of a man and woman who were found on the side of a Buford road as a murder-suicide. The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office said Wednesday that 67-year-old Margie Gibbs shot and killed 53-year-old Jimmy Watts before turning the gun on herself Saturday.

A fatal double shooting in Buford Saturday has now been ruled a murder-suicide. Gwinnett Police spokesman Brian Kelly said 67-year-old Margie Gibbs of Columbus shot 53-year-old Jimmy Watts of Tiger multiple times before turning the gun on herself.
