Widow of slain abortion provider among those praising NY's tougher state laws

I do not condone killing abortion providers, but I wonder if she knows that her husband is burning in Hell

I'm sure she knows that you hateful zealots are hoping that's the case. I'm also sure she knows it's not, despite all the glee you people take in the thought.

Despite that, Dr. Slepian did not deserve to be murdered in his kitchen, in cold blood, in front of his family, regardless of what anyone thinks about his medical practice. The debate regarding abortion is a serious one, but when these whackos take measures like this, it is obscene.

Currently, abortion is legal, murder in cold blood is not. Hell has nothing to do with this, this is an issue of law.

You are right, a "law" will not stop these whack jobs from hunting down people in cold blood, but perhaps it's a deterrent for some of the lunatic fringe at this point? I'm not trying to pick a side right now on the abortion debate, but I will emphatically state that people who murder these doctors (premeditated) in cold blood deserve stiff sentences. As I said, today, abortion is legal and cold blooded murder is not.

Also, it's not "news." Today's profit taking on Wall Street was news, the Yankees winning last night was news. Things that happen one time, for a discrete moment, are "news." This is more of a subject for discussion. The reactions to it are more open to interpretation.

One can only live by his or her own beliefs and values. It is not up to you or anyone else to say what God thinks about someone else or how they will be judged. You are the one who is sitting in judgment of Dr and Mrs Slepian. You are free to believe in what YOUR religion teaches you but that doesn't make it so....

How will God judge you Life Coach? I'm sure there are many posters who think you will be condemned to hell for the evil (disguised as wit or your mission to educate) you spew here. If I was you I'd start worrying about that!
