Personally I believe that what happened was wrong, and inexcusable, and I would be one calling for it to be treated as a hate crime.
However...what makes you think Jesse or Al should make this their issue? Tell me the last time David Duke or Rush Limbaugh protested a black person being the target of a hate crime? Perhaps Jesse and Al chose to focus on their 'own' just as your precious David Duke, Rush Limbaugh and Stormfront members focus upon you. You cannot have it both ways.
