Shots fired outside Saginaw-area juvenile facility

I worked for WHS for over 4 years. During this time, this “alleged gunman” was my boss the entire time. Many people claim to know this man, very few people actually know this man, and too many people actually have no clue what they are even saying. For instance, reporters interview staff that claim that maybe he lost it due to losing his job and not being able to support his family. What?? What family?? Must be someone that has no clue! Then the CEO goes on television and reports the youth as “inmates”…what? And what about how the CEO goes off on a tangent in regards to how our tax dollars are going to these unwed mothers that are having babies out of wedlock. I am guessing that means that the “alleged gunman” shot off rounds due to babies being born out of wedlock???? You are kidding right? Might be time to get a P.R…..
Secondly, I had the opportunity to work closely with this “alleged gunman” for over 4 years. He pushed me to come up with my own ideas and then made me think how to implement them. He is a perfectionist. He adores those kids and fought hard for them…even with people like the CEO. He never once treated me unprofessionally and the people that have worked there for a number of years can back me up on this. The reason I mention this is because it is alleged that a sexual harassment charge was brought up and this is what resulted in his “resignation”. Do I agree how he handled the situation? Not really. But, I do know for a fact that the Wolverine Secure Treatment Center was HIS building and that he knew ALL of the ins and outs of this building. Do people honestly believe that he could not have gotten in there? Or that he did not know the schedules of all employed in that building….yeah, okay. If he wanted to actually kill someone, I bet any amount of money that he could have done it. Instead, I believe that he wanted to make a point.
This man had dedicated his life to Wolverine Human Services for 15 years. This was his family. It was taken from his due to some allegations regarding sexual harassment. The sad thing is when one alleges sexual harassment, how do you prove that you did nothing wrong? It is really funny that the handful, and I mean HANDFUL, of us that really know him; that has had to work really late nights with him; that nothing has ever happened in which we felt that we were being sexually harassed.
This man is very, very smart. The few of us that actually knew him, adored him. He could be so tough on us, but it was because he wanted his team to be the best! A few of us got to know him, got the chance to learn from him, and honestly hopes nothing but the best for him! None of us know what we would have done in the same situation.
