Service to 911 in Brunswick from Verizon Wireless phones restored

"As of 3:30 a.m. Saturday, the third party company that processes 911 calls for parts of Maine confirmed that cellular calls to 911 were again being completed successfully for wireless carriers," Michael Murphy, spokesperson for Verizon Wireless New England, said in a statement issued about 10 a.m. Saturday.
