Two people were killed in a vehicle accident in Liberty County on Wednesday afternoon.

The GBI Crime Lab has identified the body found last week in a Coffee County cotton field as Tina Davis of Coffee County, W/F, 42 years of age.

Dental records and DNA are being used to identify the badly decomposed body found in a cotton field near Broxton Thursday morning.

On Thursday, October 29, 2009, the Coffee County Sheriff's Office was contacted at approximately 10:11 a.m. in reference to a farmer finding a body in his cotton field located off a dirt road on 441 north of Broxton.

Farmer Stan Clough made the discovery in his cotton field near Highway 441 between Broxton and Pridgen.

According to the GBI, 34 year old Jason Rish died from a gun-shot wound after he confronted a homeowner at his house following an altercation.

On Sunday, October 25, 2009, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Broxton Police Department requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Douglas Office to assist with investigating the death of Jason L. Rish, 34 YOA, of Broxton, Ga.
