Licking Co. Accident Injures Zanesville woman
An accident just after 1:00am Thursday morning sent a Zanesville woman to Grant Medical Center in Columbus with serious injuries.
High winds already have downed some power lines in Licking County, but according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington severe storms are unlikely into the evening.
* A suspect was arrested with a knife and two stolen necklaces on the first block of West Church Street between 6 and 6:15 a.m. Tuesday. * A tire was slashed on a vehicle on the 200 block of Myrtle Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. * A rubber bracelet, air freshener and cell phone case were stolen from a gas station on the 800 block of Mount Vernon Road on Aug. 26. * Four tires were stolen from a parking lot on the 200 block of West Church Street between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8 p.m. Monday. * A $99 car stereo was stolen from a vehicle on the 1,300 block of North 21st Street between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. * Suspected marijuana was found on an individual during an arrest in a parking lot on the 300 block of West Church Street between 11:19 and 11:40 p.m. Friday. * A bottle of cologne was stolen from a business on the 1,100 block of North 21st Street between 2:35 and 2:48 p.m. Monday. * A girl was hit with a belt and choked by her parent on the first block of North Avenue between 2 and 3 p.m. Monday. * A silver 2005 Toyota Tacoma, containing a tool belt and tools, were stolen from a parking lot on the 600 block of McKinley Avenue between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday. * A pair of $1,200 diamond earrings and a $100 digital camera were stolen from a home on the 200 block of West Locust Street between 9:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday. * A woman was sexually assaulted at a home on the first block of North Buena Vista Street between 2:45 and 3 a.m. Monday. * A boy was punched in the face on the first block of Riley Street at 7:47 p.m. Saturday. * A white 1995 Ford Aerostar was stolen from a yard on the 100 block of Poplar Avenue between 10 and 11:09 p.m. Saturday. * A $325 GPS unit, a $140 power converter, a $39 cell phone charger and an audio adapter were stolen from a vehicle on the 400 block of Edgemont Road between 9 p.m. Saturday and 6:49 p.m. Sunday. * A man was struck in the face by his girlfriend in a home on the 200 block of Quail Creek Drive between noon and 6:60 p.m. Friday. * Miscellaneous items, valued at $265, were stolen from a business on the 1,300 block of North 21st Street between 6:10 and 6:20 p.m. Friday. * A woman was struck and thrown by a household member in a home on the 100 block of Clinton Street between 4 and 5 a.m. Friday. * A cat was stolen from a home on the 2,300 block of Mink Street, Pataskala, between 1:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday. * A camper was tipped over in a yard on the first block of Terrace Avenue, Thornville, between 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday. * A home was broken into and 200 pills of Percocet and 55 pills of OxyContin were stolen on the 1,100 block of Villa Circle, Newark, between 7:30 a.m. and 1:14 p.m. Friday. * About 180 pills of oxycodone were stolen from a home on the 10,200 block of Third Street, Brownsville, between noon Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday. * Blank checks and debit card were stolen from a home on the 100 block of Brandon Drive, Pataskala, between May 1 and May 30. * A black 1995 GMC Sonoma was stolen from a field on the 10,600 block of Jacksontown Road, Thornville, between 1 and 4 a.m. Friday. * Two mailboxes were stolen on the 6,600 block of Harmony Church Road, Johnstown, and three on the 10,000 block of Crouse Willison Road, Johnstown. They were dumped in a yard on the 8,900 block of Loudon Street, Johnstown, between 3 and 4:30 a.m. Saturday. * A suspect broke two windows out of a vehicle and later broke two windows out of a patrol cruiser on the 14,200 block of Palmer Road, Reynoldsburg, between 7:58 and 10:55 p.m. Saturday. * A suspect was arrested for suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated on Cristland Hills Road near Mill Dam Road, Licking Township, at 11:43 p.m. Saturday. * A juvenile suspect was arrested for stealing a 24-pack of beer from a gas station on the 10,200 block of Lancaster Road, Hebron, between 11:52 p.m. Saturday and 12:17 a.m. Sunday. * A home was broken into and a $1,600 television and a DVD player were stolen on the 11,400 block of Eddyburg Road, Newark, between 8 and 11:30 a.m. Sunday. * A 20-year-old suspect was arrested for suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated on U.S. 40 near Cedar Park Road, Etna Township, at 2:56 a.m. The driver registered a 0.151 blood-alcohol content during a breath test.
NEWARK POLICE REPORTS A $75 MP3 player and a $200 GPS unit were stolen from two vehicles in a parking lot on the 1,400 block of Londondale Parkway between 7 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
